MOUNTAIN MINISTRY

Mountain Ministry is a ministry that is designed to get students off the couch and into the great outdoors. From camping to biking, we aim to disciple students and create relationships while we enjoy God's amazing creation.

VELOCITY GROUPS

Velocity desires to see students know God, grow in God and go for God. This isn’t simply going to church; this is being the church. Godly friendships are an absolutely crucial part of this. Velocity groups are the most effective way we know to develop these relationships: We think they are really, really important. If you join a Velocity group, you can expect:

1. Laid back hang-out time, playing games and eating together with other students.
2. Time to discuss the Velocity weekend message, dealing with personal issues and applying truths.
3. A chance to pray and talk with a leader and students in way that is real and honest.

These groups require a 12-week commitment and are free of charge. They meet in The MIX Gameroom at Calvary at 7 pm on Monday nights during the school semesters. After the food and hang-out time, students hear a recap of that weekend’s message then break up into groups of guys or girls across the campus, with a leader.
